Delete your account and data
How to request deletion of your Occasio account or specific data.

This page explains how to delete your Occasio account and associated data, or request deletion of specific information without closing your account.

1. Delete your full Occasio account
In the app (immediate)
- Open Occasio and go to the Account tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account and data.
- Read the confirmation and tap Delete everything.
- If you signed in with Apple, you will be asked to confirm with Apple once, so we can disconnect Occasio from your Apple ID.
Deletion starts straight away. You do not need to email us, call anyone or wait for approval.
Subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings (the app can open them for you); otherwise billing continues.
If you cannot open the app
If you cannot sign in, email developernick1@gmail.com from the email address tied to your account with the subject Delete my Occasio account. We may reply once to confirm ownership and will complete deletion within 30 days.
If you signed in with Google, you can also revoke Occasio’s access in your Google Account permissions. If you signed in with Apple, you can stop using Apple ID with Occasio in Settings → [your name] → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple.
What we delete
When your account is deleted, we remove:

What we may keep or what expires separately

After account deletion, you will not be able to sign in again with the same account or recover Vault or history data.
2. Delete some data without deleting your account
You can ask us to remove specific data while keeping your account.
Email developernick1@gmail.com from your account email and tell us what to delete, for example:
- A person in your Vault
- An entry in your creation history
- A specific shared card (if you have the link or creation details)
We will respond within a reasonable time (typically within 30 days) and confirm what was removed.
3. Guest users (no account)
If you used Occasio without signing in, there is no account to delete.
Card content you created is stored only as long as needed to host the share link. Guest links expire after 30 days; after expiry, recipients can no longer open the card and related media is deleted within a short grace period.
To remove a guest card before it expires, email developernick1@gmail.com with the share link URL and ask us to delete it early.
4. Data about other people
If you added someone to your Vault or addressed a card to them, that information is deleted when you delete that Vault entry, your account, or when you ask us to remove it by email.
